Touch trekking in Wales

Last week we had the pleasure of spending quality time in Bannau Brycheiniog (the Brecon Beacons) with some of our fantastic team from across Touch Associates.

A 17 mile trek across the Dragons Back in the Black Mountains climbing to Waun Fach at 815m then all the way down again through beautiful landscapes.

Why? For charity? No. As an exercise to identify future leaders? No. To try out a possible activity for one of our clients? No.

Simply, it was a chance to get outside, away from laptops and phones, and spend time together, get to know each other better – more than you can through a quick chat while making a coffee in the office – appreciate and support each other and let people detox their minds.

Well-being comes in many forms and today reminded me just how important quality time with colleagues, doing something together with a common goal, is good for the soul and good for the mind and brings us all that little bit closer.

Recent years in the events industry has been tough to say the least, with so many things being impacted including the whole idea of what a great company culture looks like. We call our culture at Touch The Big Intimacy; The more we understand, the better we connect. The better we connect, the more powerful the relationship – Today was The Big Intimacy at its best.
